Hey, I'm new here, and don't know where to put this, so here goes. I was sitting in my math class in the engineering building, when the fire alarms go off. We go outside and there were a couple of fire trucks out on the road. If any of you have any details let me know. Thanks

Hahaha, I was sitting at my computer in my family room on Friday morning when I heard that call on the scanner. It was just a false alarm. It could be one of two things: 1. A student pulled the alarm trying to get out of a test or something. It happens... 2. Faulty wiring or a false indication caused the alarm to go off. Again, it happens...
Engine 7 from Madison Ave., near the dorms, and Squad 33 from Station 1, down Fifth from the stadium, responded to the call. I know that Engine 7 had to reset the alarm system, but I don't know whether or not they had to reset one of the pull alarms located within the building. Both trucks were clear of the scene and home again within 25 minutes. There was no smoke, fire, or any indication of anything burning. I wrote down the specifics of the call but can not find them at the moment. If I do, I will post them here for you.

I did hear that one of my old proffessors, "smelled something burning" in the basement, and I guess she pulled the alarm, but we were out of there, and I had to get to my next class, so I couldn't stick around.
