WOOD ATTIC LADDER
« on: December 08, 2012, 08:15:42 AM »
I think this all wood, 10ft., (folding) 'Attic Ladder' is about a neat as a neon sign.  It is still in excellent condition (nothing broken), and when 'folded', you could mistake it for two pieces of a 2 x 4.  It is showing it's age...darkening of the side rails, but other than that it's a beauty.

Tapered Truss Ground Ladders or Ground Fire Ladders began as an original design by Frederick Seagrave, who made wood orchard ladders before building fire ladders in 1881 in Columbus, Ohio.

Constructed of Douglas Fir, Oak and Hickory woods with precision steel fasteners and hardware, Alaco Ground Fire Ladders are widely used by major Fire Departments and Agencies throughout Southern and Northern California other Western states.
