First is Lafayette Engine 6-3-1: 2003 Pierce Dash Rescue Pumper, bought from Riviera Beach Md in 2009.
I used a Code3 Quartum body (Engine 6-3-3) and mounted a Code3 Dash cab on it. The light tower is from a Road Champs Rescue, with the shrouding made from Plastruvt sheet. Decals are from InQuarters and the door logos were from a friend.

Next is Ronks former Engine 4-8-2, from 1988-2008: 1988 Pierce Dash D8000.
I used an Ertl Pierce Lance. I filled in the upper compartment doors to look like top hinged ones. The grill and light assemblies were cut down and the cab front filled in with body putty. The pump panel doors were cut out and speed lays were installed. After the photos were taken and edited, Don Mills mirrors and quartz lights were added. Also, slam lock decals were added to the doors. Decals are from In Quarters.

Ronks Air 48: 2001 International/Pierce
I took a Roadchamps St Louis Rescue and cut the cab down to a 2 door cab. I inserted scored sheet styrene into the door openings to simulate the rollup doors, except for the left front compartment, which is a walk in, which used one of the hinged doors. Decals are from In Quarters. Quartz lights are from Don Mills. Don's mirrors were added, as well as the decal below the grill, after the pictures were taken and edited. By the way, the light tower was the one used on Engine 6-3-1.

From Rheems Tanker 7-11: A DPC Mack Granite tractor mated to a Code3 Jacksonville Tanker. I didn't repaint the tractor to resemble to Rheems paint scheme, as it would have required some intricate masking; the original DPC stripe did just fine fo me. The lettering and striping are from In Quarters, The compartments between the cab and pump panel were deleted, and the booster reel removed from the rear step, and a new rear step was installed. The cab lightbar is from the orginal Freightliner cab. And finally, the long fuel tank on the drivers side was swapped out with a short tank from another Granite, to make the body fit easier.
While not 1/64th, its close at 1/50th. I bought a partially disassembled Corgi Rescue. I stripped the old lettering off and reletterred it with decals from CMFE, to resemble Eden Rescue 24. Eden sold this unit several years ago.
While not exact, it is close enough.

Lafayette Engine 6-3-2 is q 1978 Mack CF685F/1992 PA Fire Rehab. It served it whole life at Lafayette. It is still in service. I started with a Code3 FDNY Engine 33. I added 090 strip to the crew door. This simulates the flush fitting one on the real unit. I have added to the hose body 030 strips to modify the body to look more like the real one. 030 overlays were added to simulate compartment doors. I used several of InQuarters decal sets for various stripes, lighting ,door handles and lettering. A BIG thank you goes to Truckie 52 for the door logos. The blue stripes are from a Cenral of Georgia passenger coach set. Amazing what you can find at a GOOD Hobby Shop's decal boxes. The hose load and nozzles are from the parts bin. All in all, I think it is a good representation of "Da MACK" hope you enjoy looking at it. This makes 3 of the 6-3 fleet.

Lampeter Engine 5-4-3, a 1969 Mack CF685F, originally served Horsham PA. Unit still serves Lampeter faithfully today. I started with an older Corgi Mack. The version with the plastic hose body. I repainted it, and lettered it with some old 1/32 scale Monogram CF decals and the numbers are from a 1/25th scale AMT ALF model. The hosebed cover is a piece of blotter paper, with cardstock on the bottom to reinforce the cover. I also added some accent painting to highlight warning lights, grab rails and door handles. I have since added Don Mills mirrors and a Bulldog to the cab. It sits in a Plasticville Firehouse alongside a Dehanes B model Mack, which was originally lettered for Lampeter, which I have had for years.

It's been a while since I built anything.
Here we have your basic repaint/reletter/restripe.
I started with a Code 3 Heavy Rescue and repainted it.
The colors are off from the original, but it matches the
other two Ronks pieces I built earlier. The stripes and lettering
are from Rich. The thin stripes are from a Pennsylvania RR loco
set. I have a couple of touchups, but otherwise it is finished.

The real one.
Supposed to be replaced next year with
a RED Pierce PUC Rescue/Engine.
Traditions die hard.
