        after thre big baltimore fire   the undrwriters  told phila  must have a special high  preswsure  hydrant syatem or they stolp all fireinsurabce     i woluld loved  tol be at that meeting   so in 1906  we built the system, top of the line  two pumping   stations  and even a  8 intake  fire boat connection      it saved the city many times  over  the iso  class i=one  number is all bs

when i was teaching in miss  a capt asked  what is a basement  nozzleiso  made they get one   amd tere wass not one  basement in their  service area .

when  they  inspect  the water supply  and about 9 other items  make up the rating.   we cam hav a major fire in one building and la has a one story  house  and their loss is less so theyget class one  has a said  its all bs .
