Scanner antenna's

I have a Bearcat scanner and I live in New Milford CT. I want to try and listen to FDNY from my house. I live on a hill, so reception should be really good. Does anyone know what antenna I should put on my house to be able to recieve good clear reception?

Here is a decent, rather inexpensive for $29.95 antenna that should work ;
Designed by Bob Grove, this exclusive Grove product offers 25-1300 MHz coverage; lightweight, compact design, high performance, and low cost! Designed especially for wide-area metropolitan listeners, the 68" Omni can be mounted on a mast, in an attic crawl space, against a wall--just about anywhere convenient.
