Updating Your Profile

I've been going through the list of members trying to weed out some of the folks who got through who shouldn't have.  I've also been contacting some folks who just aren't posting on here like they used to.  In doing this I'm locating LOTS of invalid e-mail addresses, bad links to web sites, etc.  Why not take a moment and look at your profile.  Maybe it could use a little sprucing up?  Also, why not post a message, just one, if you have never done so before.  Comment on a photo, say hello to a new member, anything to let us know you're here!!  We want to hear from you....

I guess I finally have to admit that I am not "of the computer age" - - I tried to change my profile and simply could not get it done - -wanted to change my "log-in" name from my actual name to something like "X chief 1" or some such thing -- it's really no big deal so I'll just leave it as it is.

Dan,

To update your profile go to your Profile page.  Under the Username there is a button marked "Change".  Click the button and enter your new Username.  Also, enter your password.  For some reason the computer program will assign you a new password after you make the change.  This should work.

Post made. Haven't been able to log in lately due to a "cookie" message though...  Not sure why, nothing changed in my settings.  I still got the message even when I set the cookies to "accept all."

It may be that that is an option that is only avail to the Administrators.  Send me a PM with what you want for a new name and I'll change it.
