Nice! Thanks for the add'l info Steve! I find it interesting that both of these rigs served Brooklyn for exactly 20 years. The 1960 Quint being replaced by the 1980 ALF 100' Quint, the 1961 engine being replaced by the 1981 ALF 54' Squrt.

I also seem to recall that Brooklyn "might" have run 3 engines and the ladder in the 70's/80's and not 2 engines and the ladder as I previously thought. Reason being is I remember before they remodeled the station they started running an ambulance which I think "replaced" an engine in one of the bays. After the remodel from 4 to 5 bays, they could hold all their rigs. I'll have to go to the fire station and ask next time I'm in town.
