Here's two more myster pics of the same rig, Ladder 1 of the Union Colony Fire-Rescue Authority or Greeley, CO.  I don't know where this one came from either.

Here's what I know:

I had heard from a good source that the Union Colony was switching back to the Greeley Fire Department name. So the tiller was ordered with Greeley lettering. When it was delivered the switch had not occurred and the new name on the ladder rubbed some people or politicians the wrong way. It was decide to remove the signs until the switch or name change occurs. Greeley Fire Department existed prior to the consolidation of the City Department and the Rural Fire District that both created Union Colony Fire Authority. Very similar to the consolidation of Fort Collins Fire Department and the Rural Fire District that both created Poudre Fire Authority. Rick
